Project overview

Wee3Beasties (W3B) is a 100% volunteer run, nonprofit cat rescue, dedicated to transforming the lives of stray and feral cats around New Prague, MN. Their mission is to trap, neuter, and release feral cats, arrange veterinary care, and find loving homes for adoptable cats.

The problem

The current website design is dated, difficult to navigate, and fails accessibility standards. Patrons are discouraged by a lack of information regarding adopting, donating, and sponsoring on the Wee3Beasties website. Many shelters provide clear and accessible processes online. How might we streamline the user path and provide relevant information in a user-friendly design?

The solution

After discussing with the client, we decided to focus on reorganizing the site map to include additional informational pages, refreshing the style guide, and updating the design to reflect the new style. The redesign aims to create a friendlier and more informative website that helps connect potential adopters and sponsors to cats in need.
